FINALLY!!!

Have you missed me bunches? :) I didn't get into my stamp room until about 10pm last night, so I was only able to get one card done to post...

I'm not diggin' how the photo makes it look like the ink doesn't match... I think that the heat embossing under the glitter may be the culprit... I mean, in real life it isn't completely MATCHY MATCHY, but it looks better than the photos! And glitter always looks better in person.

Stamps: Playful Parenthesis, Graphic Blooms, Script Background

Paper: Mimi SWIC, White UltraSmooth cardstock

Ink: Belle Rose, Toile Pink, & Burnt Umber Palettes

Other: Crystal Stickles, Brown Scrapper's Floss, Lemonade Blossoms & Buttons, Transcendence Embossing Powder, Polo Shimmer Brads, foam tape

The main panel is actually white cardstock that I've 'aged' with those awesome manicure pads... I may be getting rid of my sponges altogether! I also really like just the hint of the Script Background with the pink ink... it jazzes up the plain ol' background without overpowering the main image.

And don't you love all of the flowers & buttons? I can't get enough of them. I'm going to be in trouble when I have to do a guy card...

***Edited to add: A few people have asked what the manicure pads look like. Here is the link to Sally's... it doesn't show a close-up picture though. Click HERE

What do you think?

Barb! So pretty! I struggle with this set, because it's not my usual style! But I really like how this card looks! I'll have to play with it some more, and see I can create something just as lovely!
