Number three...

Here's another catalogue submission to not make it:

Stamps: Squiggle Ladybugs, Mini Occasions
Paper: Lilly Anna SWIC & cardstock
Ink: Noir Palette
Bling: Lilly Anna Ribbon, clear microbeads, Crystal Lacquer
Those sketches they gave us to work with really throw me off! The sketch looked ok, but it seemed to fit a scrapbook page better than a card, until I saw what some of the other Angels came up with! There are some really talented ladies out there!

The evil boss and some fun stuff...

Dude, I am sooooooooo excited... I can't wait to leave for Seminar on Thursday!!! I am going to be absolutely worthless at work this week, I'm sure. Not that it really matters since I am totally p.o.'d at the boss in Fort Worth. Thank goodness he doesn't work up in my office (Kansas)! He and I had a bit of a tiff the other day and I am still seething. I don't dislike many people (really!), but he is definitely ON THE LIST!!! I'm glad the boss here is awesome, otherwise I was about this close [you know how close!] to quitting. Yep. Bad tiff! Needless to say, 'the good boss' said not to worry about it and to just blow it off. He doesn't realize that I am one of the all time best grudge-holders ever.
Yes, I am a bitter woman.

On to fun stuff! The photos in this post are of an altered half-composition book. TAC sent attendees for Retreat (in January) & Seminar these blank books to alter. I didn't get around to doing it for Escape, but I managed to do it for Seminar!

[is it Thursday yet?]

Happy Birthday to you, happy birthday to you...

Ok, kids. A little news. Paper Wings, which is an online forum for demonstrators from The Angel Company, is having a birthday. #1, actually. So, on June 18th, go check out the gallery: http://www.paperwingsonline.com/gallery . There are going to be some great new ideas for birthday cards, favors, party stuff, scrapbook pages... who knows what all! Being a member of the Winger Design Team, I've come up with some items that I think you all will really like... my screen name on the gallery is: barb2780. When I get back from Seminar on the 22nd, I'll post my creations here, too... so be on the look-out. Here is a teenie little sneek peek:

Tag, I'm IT!!

Barb L., a sister in Angelhood #1, has tagged me! The "rules" of the game: Each player answers the questions about themselves. At the end of the post, the player then tags 5-6 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know they’ve been tagged and asking them to read your blog. Let the person who tagged you know when you’ve posted your answer.

Ten years ago:

I would have just met & started dating my, now, husband! I was working for a small home design firm in Gardner, Kansas. I was driving a white Mustang. I was at least 3 dress sizes smaller than I am now! I was an avid pool-tournament player at the local bar (hubby's mom owns it). I had no idea what scrapbooking or rubber stamping were!

Five things in todays 'to do list':
1. drag my lazy tush out of my wonderful, compfy sleep number bed
2. morning meeting regarding client's kitchen & master bath renovation

3. grab a Route 44 Coke from Sonic
4. post something in my blog
5. clean house (purge purge purge)

Snacks I enjoy:

Snyder's Garlic Bread Nibblers, grapes, dark chocolate

Things I would do if I was a millionaire:

Anything I wanted to do. Travel the world (even though the hubby doesn't want to leave the USA!). Go to one of those fat-farm-type spas and torture myself to lose weight. Look into more infertility options. Definitely give a lot to various charities (Shriner's Hospitals, ASPCA, Habitat for Humanity, Breast Cancer affiliates, etc.)

Places I have lived:

Gardner, Ks
Manhattan, Ks
Edgerton, Ks
Castiglion Fiorentino, Italy (study abroad)

I will now tag:

Tobi
Ginger
Seleise
Joani
Sarah

Yes, I know Halloween is 5 months away, but...

OMG OMG OMG! I have a new love... Black Magic ColorCore Cardstock by core'dinations. It is quite possibly the most perfect cardstock for all that is Halloween. I just got it today and had to do something with it! This is not my best work, but I love it anyway because it uses one of my all time favorite (retired, dang it!) TAC stamp sets: Haunted. Isn't the house awesome? The sentiment is TAC's Happy Haunting (current), Noir & Water Lilly Green Palette inks, DCWV card base, some misc. funky orangy-yellow cardstock, Cuttlebug embossing folder, and a ripped strip of cotton (old pillow case).

So what do you think?
