Springy Haute Couture Diva

Missed me?  It's been a crazy few days at work, so I've been too tired to get creative... dang it.  This whole 'work' thing really gets in the way sometimes :)

I was playing with my Copics again last night.  I was trying to do that feathering technique with two totally different colors... not too bad.  I was afraid to try to blend them together... fearing it would get all muddied up... so you can see the marker lines.

Stamps:  Haute Couture (retired TAC)

Paper:  Mimi (retired, but now there is More Mimi!), White UltraSmooth & brown cardstocks

Ink:  Memento Tuxedo

Other:  Copic markers, Diamond Stickles, pink gems & misc. ribbon

Well, back to work...

What do you think?!

cool beans! I didn't know you could feather two different colors like that. Love the ribbon treatment too. Hang in there! :)

Beautiful, I like the marker lines on this, sometimes they just work! I never figured this technique out, I didn't like the way things were turning out for me , and being a little lazy, I gave it up!!:) But this is stunning!!

Very springy indeed, mimi is definitely the paper to use. Love the colors and I can't believe YOU'D be afraid to try anything (lol). I've been doing a little of the feathered blending (not for general publication, results have been 'interesting'). And FYI, your haute couture samples are the reason I had to re-buy that set (after I had sold it when it retired). You're such an enabler.

WOWzers! Your "feathering" on that dress is spectacular! I read about the technique last month on the Copic Challenge blog but haven't tried it yet. Girl, you don this technique perfectly!
