Felty Frugal Find

You know that I love a bargain, right?  And you might remember this papercrafting beauty that I picked up last year.  Well, Michaels did it again, this time with this round flowery felt lovely!  A pack of four for $1.  SCORE!

I'm usually not a yellow person, but I thought it paired up nicely with this aqua card base made from THIS cardstock stack.  I used PTI's Summer Sunrise Palette Ink with this month's Stamp of the Month, Leafy Trees.  The sentiment is from Trendy Greetings, and is one of my go-to greeting sets... I'll never part with it!  It is stamped with Noir Palette ink.

I sanded the edges of the card base a bit so the white core show through... shabby is good :)  What makes me happy is that I actually made a birthday card... I don't know why I don't make more... I am needing them all the time!  This was so quick to make, I should go back to M's and grab some more of these felties!

What do you think?

YES! LOVE the color combo and that you scored again. I saw those felt thingies and wanted them but couldn't figure out what to do with them. Should have known you'd be the diva. And bonus! I've got six of those cardstock stacks and haven't made one card. I like your layout, so once again, you're my creative muse.

I finally used my yellow coasters to make some cards (only 19 months later...grrr). Thanks so much for your inspiration!
