Quick post today, on this sunny & bright Sunday afternoon. I swear that Kansas has THE most schitzo weather ever. Friday it was bitter cold, dreary, snowing, windy... today is still cold, but so bright and cheery! I had so much fun visiting with some fellow Angels over the weekend, and I'll post our shoebox swaps and other tidbits in a future post (gotta take photos!). Luckily I had this little card already whipped up to share today ;)
Stamps: True Beauty, Script Background
Paper: Hemingway, Angelee, Black, White UltraSmooth, & Monochromatic Oranges cardstocks
Ink: Noir & Cognac Palettes, Eggplant VM
Other: EK Success border punch, green ribbon, Copic markers
VERY traditional looking, right? This would be a good one to send to my mom or aunt. Super simple layout, not much embellishing, but the butterfly really does need to be center stage :)
What do you think?

WOW - I think it's beautiful! Love the coloring and you're right the butterfly MUST be center stage!! You're so good too - putting a pic of the copic colors you used!
I love that "patch" of purple you colored around the butterfly. Super gorgeous!
Look at you go with the Copics!!! What a beautiful card. Your mom or aunt BOTH need one of these! Great job, Barb - love it!

Your coloring is wonderful!! Thanks for the tips this weekend! Can't wait to get in my room now and use my pencils to color and blend!
It's absolutely beautiful. I wish I were that good with my copics.
Beautiful coloring!
It looks like Designer paper! Great card!! I made a card kind of like this yesterday, but used the cracked glass technique.
Simply Beautiful Barb!
