Took a little break from Copic coloring and went back to my Prismacolor pencils for this one.  Yep, another Haute Diva card... I can't help it... I love this image.

This image was another that's been in my "already colored" stash for awhile.  I love that slightly salmon pink color, and had this bit of velvet ribbon that coordinated nicely.  So I tried the Scor-tape ribbon-ruffle thing, too... I just did a single row, but I'll definitely be trying it with two!  The velvet ribbon wasn't very easy to work with, though.

Yes, I love Scor-tape.  I tried this with that ultra sticky tape... you know, the "red" tape... no go.  Totally didn't work.  And Scor-tape you can tear with your fingers... bonus!

Other:  Prismacolor pencils, mineral oil, blending stumps, Scor-tape, Nesties Labels 4, Diamond Stickles, Pearl Gem, EK Success edger punch, velvet ribbon, foam tape

There's something just a bit "off" with this, though... something is missing but I don't know what it is.

What do you think?

The first thing I thought when I saw this is that the white stamped on black looks so velvety! Maybe it's because of the ribbon on top of it, but it looks like a cool texture. I also like the frame behind the image. As always, your coloring is wonderful!!

I don't think it is missing ANYTHING! It's just right the way it is, don't over-think it!
LOVE it! Especially the ribbon!! Thanks for the idea! I have some very red ribbon like that and now have the perfect idea of how to use it. Well, off to buy some Scor-tape!!

Are you kidding me! This is GORGEOUS chick! I noticed those frames were compatible with spellbinders, I have to get some. That background is beautiful. and I LOVE the velvet ribbon and the little pearl heart. You rocked this one. The only thing I might consider adding (and it it's gorgeous without it), is maybe 3 pearls on the right side. Maybe in the corner or on the inside edge of the label, in the pink area. Have a blessed Sunday Barb!
hugs,
Melisa
