Vintage Santa

TGIF!!  This week has seemed to just freakin' drag on and on and on... and not in a good way.  When was the last time I said it...

I want to be a kept woman... Somehow saying it just didn't help :)

Ok, on to today's schtuff!  How cool is this santa?!  The photos kinda look washed out, sorry.  The colors look much better in real life.  AND you can't see the subtle sparkle I added with the glitter pen, dang it.  Someone PLEASE teach me how to use a camera properly!

Stamps:  Vintage Santa, Thinking of You (Hostess Level C)

Paper:  Ivory UltraSmooth, Brown, & Amelia cardstocks, Mulberry Meadow cardstock (retired)

Ink:  Burnt Umber Palette

Other:  Prismacolors w/ mineral oil, Copper Hardware, misc. ribbon & twine, Fiskars border punch, distresser

I think he turned out pretty cool.  Even though I'm not really into vintage-style stamps, I HAD to get this one... it was one of the first ones that jumped out at me from the new Inspiration Avenue magalogue.

I added shimmer to the snowflakes, santa's hair & beard, and to random areas of the toys.

I wonder who gets this card come December?

What do you think?

Being a kept woman has it's drawbacks! :)

Love the card though, can't wait to get my hands on it. I think TAC found a winner with this set!

OH man! I hadn't heard it for awhile and I was beginning to worry that you DIDN'T want to be a kept woman anymore! :):)

The card is fantastic! I have been playing with that set for a couple of weeks now and none of my cards have looked this good! GREAT job!

It's AWESOME!!! I just got that set - haven't even cut it out. I, too, just had to have it even though I would say it's not my normal buy.
