I didn't like how this first card turned out, but I loved the coloring on the pumpkin... so I'm just showing off the pumpkin :) The rest of the card shall never be seen again {evil winkie grin}.
This will go into the cards-that-may-never-be-sent pile, or perhaps the in-case-of-emergency-oops-I-forgot-another-freakin'-card pile.
This little punnkinn {as Mama used to say when I was little} is from Sunshiny Day. It was stamped with StazOn onto a very thick unbleached muslin & colored with Prismacolor pencils.
You can also catch a glimpse of Penelope designer paper and Ribbon.
That's it! And no begging for the rest of the card... I am not listening... laaa laaaa laaa laaa {hands over ears chanting in most childish manner} :)
Next up is one of my submissions for the catalogue designer call last summer... I used sketch #4 from page 11 of the current catalogue. I used the following stamps: Linear Sentiments, More Abundance, and All Occasion Circles. Papers: Rustic Chic designer paper, Bazzill Mono-Browns, and a chartreuse green cardstock from DCWV.
I tried to go outside my typical uber-structured look, and used skewed angles... AND no perfect strips or squares... scary, I know.
That's it for today kids. And for those of you who are in the Wichita, Kansas area and will be attending the Kansas Shrine Bowl game on Saturday... thank you for your support!!
What do you think?

I love your pumpkin!! It's quite realistic! As to the rejected submission, it's really cool!
Girl, this is gorgeous! I love the stamping on fabric, I just forget to do so!!! Great job on your punnkin!
Love your other card too - best of luck with submitting it!! Hope to see it in the next catty.
Your pumpkin is perfect - as is the rest of the card, I'm SURE! Love the rustic chic one - I love that paper and all of those layers are great!
fantastic, I love the second card just beautiful, and your colouring on that punkin is amazing!!!!!beautiful, I hope you can find something to use it on, wonderful job on both.
Barb, the rustic chic card is great. The pattern in that collection lends itself to skewing angles. And I LOVE the touches of chartreuse/limey green. And...um...at least you adhered your muslin punkin to a card. I kept mine intact on the muslin (I loved my coloring too but it wasn't going anywhere but my seminar stash of goodies).
Man, the pumpkin looks wonderful! I don't see how the rest of the card could be a total tart! But I had a card do that to me the other day, and I totally redid the part that was bugging me! And woo hoo on going outside your box!
LOVIN' Chick!! Too cute and the stampin' THAT image on THAT fabric is perfect for fall!
Ok, I will admit that I was gonna ask to see the rest of the card- but I guess it would do no good. LOL Love the pumpkin!! And your funky angle card is so cool!

Love what I can see of both cards! I especially like the skewed angles.
I'm a big pumpkin fan so the first card is a winner for me - it looks so real - how super talented are you. The second card is so cute and i love the colours - they are both fantastic.

Your pumpkin looks fantastic! I'm sure the rest of the card is great, too...but I won't ask to see it. :) Your Rustic Chic card is very cool and way to go for using skewed angles. It turned out great!
